fairly new adobe after effects , came problem. i have piece of footage , when cut out 15 seconds (in middle) , delete , drag 2 pieces , carries on playing asif didnt cut out . im fustrated can help. know how use multiple adobe programs can figure out. what you're saying not make sense. guessing split layer have 2 copies set endpoint of second layer down timeline 15 seconds. guessing grabbed outpoint , drug out point of layer below instead of grabbing whole layer , sliding in timeline.   on single layer can set in , out point only. if want take 15 seconds out of middle easiest thing split layer twice. delete middle section , reposition second layer clicking , dragging center of layer selection tool.   i not think understand proper use of after effects. 90% of compositions 7 seconds or less , 1 shot. should doing editing in premiere pro. after effects should used create motion graphics or visual effects cannot create in editing progeam. on rare occasions when can't other way s...

i'm building interactive pdf powerpoint. have map drew freeform shapes on each of regions allow people click on region show specific details. i've hyperlinked these specific slide information. when running powerpoint show work perfectly; however, when export pdf , open document it's adobe not recognize freeform shape, hyperlinks block on map , because regions connected each other if click on e.g. region 1 (which block of freeform shape overlaps region 2) takes region 2's information. i've checked in powerpoint , hyperlinks set correct slides. any idea on how can make work? thanks! hi ! i had several issues new mac book pro, spending tons of time @ phone speaking apple assistants , i've decided bring laptop genius bar. after download trial version of lightroom decided wait before buy product because apple couldn't find other solution report adobe products, in case lightroom, don't run on new versions of macbooks. found strange particularly disappointed after 2 month could't return laptop because return policy, make me feel bad inutility of adobe lightroom me in case because it's important job i'm doing. now point this, did apple lied @ me or not "genius" @ all? if entire computer freezing , has re-booted (as opposed lightroom stopping rest of computer still works), hardware malfunction or bad video driver. there no way software make entire computer freeze , need rebooted in absense of hardware malfunction or video driver incompatibility. hi, installed photoshop elements , have tried several times guided edit. when choose guided edit opens photo not open guide on right hand side (i have seen how supposed work in youtube videos).   i can click next or cancel in bottom right. clicking next nothing, clicking cancel works in sense cancels doing (which pretty nothing @ point).   the tools available when im in edit mode hand or zoom on left.   i haven't tried every single guided edit, ones have tried far have same "error". which version of pse using? which version of osx using on mac? i set backup system have 2 backup drives , renamed drive of pictures on "seagate backup plus drive" (the generic name) "seagate backup 1 - black". downloaded pictures took today it. lr can't find 9,000+ older pictures on drive because has been renamed. older photos showing in library, folders greyed out.   i have read forum looking answer , none seems cover situation. because lr can't 'see' newly named drive can't use previous suggestions such "update folder location" because folders greyed out. when click "find missing folder" message "the selected folder or 1 of subfolders in lightroom. want combine these folders?" , asks me cancel or "merge". i'm little scared merge maybe screw , hopelessly lost.   any suggestions? help. when click "find missing folder" message "the selected folder or 1 of subfolders in lightroom. want combine these folders?" , asks me cancel or "merge...

i have created form adobe livecycle designer number of digital signature fields. when form opened adobe reader not allowing signatures filled in posting error messages "the security settings on document prevent adding text and/or placing signature on adobe reader".   what have done incorrectly? you need reader-enable form. can acrobat or livecycle reader extensions.
