playback freezes on playback

hi gurus

ive installed speedgrade, , have tried edit small sd video, can play while when scrub through freezes on random frame, sound fine, sticks. ive tried going same movie via premiere file/direct link speedgrade, , seems run fine.

it seems freezing stand alone app.

speedgrade can bit finicky, on hardware. more prpro.

 

so ... hardware running on?

 

something this:

i7-4770k cpu @3.5ghz, 32gb ram, gtx970 video card 4gb vram, win7 pro sp1

8 internal drives (or esata-ii external): system twin 250gb ssd's in raid 0; system/prpro cache files on second ssd; project files, media, previews, , exports on different 1tb or larger hd's more 60% free space.

media: 1920x1080p/23.976fps mov files panny gh3

 

that give enough over-view of hardware & setup have idea what's going on. , normally, works 'easier' stand-alone through prpro, ... interesting situation!

 

and running mercury playback in preferences set "software only" or gpu assist? that's in wrench icon stuff, not easiest place find it. sound setups seem cause issues, in preferences sound options, see if turning sound off improves editing playback.

Sizing images of multiple resolutions for print on a page of one resolution

this may basic photoshop question betrays lack of experience digital workspace, i'd know how lay out multiple images of varying resolutions on 300 ppi page intended print.   say have 3 images: 1 300 ppi, 3 x 4 inches,  4 x 5 inches, 900 ppi , third 4 x 5 inches, 600 ppi.   i've created single page 300 ppi, 8 x 10 inches. images fit, physical size. when drop 600 ppi , 900 ppi images page, blow twice , 3 times space, spoiling efforts lay them out. similarly, if cut ppi on higher-ppi images 300, blow well.   the possible option see might work resample/bicubic automatic. wouldn't reduce quality of image?   thanks! an image file single file no matter how many layers , images , image sizes  in there 1 resolution 1 resolution layers  , images have same resolution setting current resolution set document or file.   you can process image file , save out files have different resolution , different image size open image.  batch using photoshop  im...

Illustrator cs6 "Invalid Serial Number"

i trying re-install adobe illustrator cs6 on new machine users old machine being retired. when enter serial no invalid message. i work ministry of transportation, ontario , purchased volume licensing. make things better, original person deployed doesn't work here anymore. have following if needed:   order number end user purchase number reseller purchase order number agreement number   please help chris for licencing issues have contact adobe support directly no 1 in forum can or here.
