No audio device detected in Captivate 7 (32 bit)

i running captivate 7 (32 bit) on windows 7 home premium system.  without prior problems, cannot record voiceover powerpoint slides in captivate because audio input device not detected.  logitech usb microphone working fine , have used many times before record voiceovers.  can give me or advise?

this need fix going control panel > sound dialog find out why usb mic not being recognized.

 

i'm assuming have tried rebooting pc usb mic attached port, right?
