Hide shape with a mouse click anywhere on the slide

captivate 9:

 

suppose have smart shape or text caption or similar object on slide.

 

now want following: if user clicks anywhere on slide (but outside mentioned shape) advanced action

shall executed (deleting shape - among other things). in case, shape "self-made" drop-down menu.

 

how can achieved? option know create huge transparent button on whole screen (and below

the mentioned shape). seems complicated , - more importantly - such huge button makes course

unstable on ipads (the ipad crashed several times when tried it).

 

so there possibility execute advanced action when clicking anywhere on screen - without using "huge" buttons

over whole screen?

let me reformulate question:

 

is possible execute advanced action when user clicks on mouse (no matter mouse points @ moment)?

 

i know it`s possible execute advanced action if user clicks on specific key on keyboard (for use tiny transparent click button , specify key can pressed instead of button). don`t know whether can same simple mouse click when cursor anywhere on slide @ moment  (and not on button).
