After Effects - Adjustment layer has no effect on any layers

hey guys,

i'm really, big noob after effects i'm trying best learn. i'm trying intro brother , tutorial i'm watching tells me add glow effect adjustment layer. however, effect add adjustment layer doesn't seem effect layers below it. tried adding glow effect individual layers on own , fine, simplicity, it'll massive if me fix issue adjustment layer having no effect on other layers

check glow effect on correct layer - adj layer.

is visibility eye of adjustment layer on?

check adjustment layer 'over' base layer both in position , time.

Sizing images of multiple resolutions for print on a page of one resolution

this may basic photoshop question betrays lack of experience digital workspace, i'd know how lay out multiple images of varying resolutions on 300 ppi page intended print.   say have 3 images: 1 300 ppi, 3 x 4 inches,  4 x 5 inches, 900 ppi , third 4 x 5 inches, 600 ppi.   i've created single page 300 ppi, 8 x 10 inches. images fit, physical size. when drop 600 ppi , 900 ppi images page, blow twice , 3 times space, spoiling efforts lay them out. similarly, if cut ppi on higher-ppi images 300, blow well.   the possible option see might work resample/bicubic automatic. wouldn't reduce quality of image?   thanks! an image file single file no matter how many layers , images , image sizes  in there 1 resolution 1 resolution layers  , images have same resolution setting current resolution set document or file.   you can process image file , save out files have different resolution , different image size open image.  batch using photoshop  im...
