"Original" files

man, getting difficult adobe. had telephone conversation week ago , tech scheduled phone call next morning higher level technician solve problem. no-one ever called , case closed. not happy.

 

lr copying photos original files same folder puts dng files. therefore, when export original file location, exported photos not go original files. go folder dng files, thereby causing me more work , increasing amount of data on external hard drive. please tell me how stop this. want original files in own location, dng files in location catalog , want export original file location, not 1 lr decides make duplicating every photo.

if export same folder original photo, exported files in same folder raw files.

if want export different folder, choose specific folder, , point lightroom folder want, clicking choose ...

Sizing images of multiple resolutions for print on a page of one resolution

this may basic photoshop question betrays lack of experience digital workspace, i'd know how lay out multiple images of varying resolutions on 300 ppi page intended print.   say have 3 images: 1 300 ppi, 3 x 4 inches,  4 x 5 inches, 900 ppi , third 4 x 5 inches, 600 ppi.   i've created single page 300 ppi, 8 x 10 inches. images fit, physical size. when drop 600 ppi , 900 ppi images page, blow twice , 3 times space, spoiling efforts lay them out. similarly, if cut ppi on higher-ppi images 300, blow well.   the possible option see might work resample/bicubic automatic. wouldn't reduce quality of image?   thanks! an image file single file no matter how many layers , images , image sizes  in there 1 resolution 1 resolution layers  , images have same resolution setting current resolution set document or file.   you can process image file , save out files have different resolution , different image size open image.  batch using photoshop  im...

i trying re-install adobe illustrator cs6 on new machine users old machine being retired. when enter serial no invalid message. i work ministry of transportation, ontario , purchased volume licensing. make things better, original person deployed doesn't work here anymore. have following if needed:   order number end user purchase number reseller purchase order number agreement number   please help chris for licencing issues have contact adobe support directly no 1 in forum can or here.
