Cannot save hyperlinks from Word 2000

hi, use microsoft word 2000 , adobe acrobar xi pro on windows 8.1. must convert word file (.doc) pdf file , want save hyperlinks. unfortunately, after converting file pdf file links don't work.

for instance, opened adobe acrobat, clicked on create, clicked on create pdf file , chose word file. doesn`t work.

if open folder doc.file right click on doc.file , click on convert adobe pdf, links not saved, too.

 

i tried edit pdf file in acrobat afterwards , insert links again, don't see possibility hyperlink specific words or sentences.

 

what can now?

in microsoft word, go acrobat tab , click preferences. in settings tab, check (tick) add links. check settings in 4 tabs. click create pdf acrobat tab.

 

if word 2000 has older interface (i can't remember), in acrobat toolbar instead of tab.
